The Challenge
Today, locally-founded cybersecurity fintech, eftsure, has one of the largest junior sales functions in Australia.
But that wasn’t always the case.
After 2020, the payment fraud prevention software began to pick up traction, leveraging a sales led growth motion to acquire customers.
As ambitious growth targets were set for 2023, the team planned to meet them by aggressively scaling their junior sales team.
Similar to BrightHR, however, there were two problems:
- Hiring: they were looking for an alternative talent solution that was a consistent high quantity source of junior sales talent
- Retention: they were looking to improve retention of junior reps that had no prior sales experience
The Solution
In mid-2023, the eftsure team reached out to Earlywork when looking for external hiring solutions beyond job boards and traditional recruiters.
After conversations with Earlywork, the team were happy to go ahead with a trial of an upcoming Earlywork Academy cohort as an integrated employer.
Unlike other hiring solutions, eftsure received hiring support beyond a regular recruitment agency in two ways:
1) Early exposure to a graduating cohort
During an Earlywork Academy cohort, there are 3 guest presentations slots allocated to integrated employers to build their brand early.
Our cohorts run monthly with a pool of 25+ fellows to tap into with an educational experience.

2) Seamless integration with the eftsure interview process
After a cohort of 25+ graduates, our Employer Success Manager worked collaboratively with David Feinberg and his sales managers to curate introductions 10+ high fit fellows.
The eftsure team were able to view detailed profiles on each fellow and schedule them into a group interview at their office.

The Results
A year on from formally becoming an integrated partner, eftsure uses Earlywork as their exclusive external hiring partner for junior sales positions.
