FAQs
I’m based elsewhere, can I still join the cohort?
A core part of our community thesis is the IRL component. We will be expanding to other locations soon but in the meantime we want to ensure our members have a world class URL and IRL experience with us
Can my employer pay for my membership?
Absolutely! Professional communities are a core part of learning & development, and your employer may have a dedicated budget for this purpose. We are more than happy to work with you to get your membership expensed by your employer
Is there any external work required?
We know how busy PMs are, so there’s no explicit take-home tasks for any sessions we run. There will be optional sessions and community-led events for folks who are extra keen to learn more with other fellows.
I’m pretty busy. Are all sessions mandatory?
The onboarding day requires all cohort members to attend, but beyond that, we know how busy PMs are. All learning, career and social sessions are optional and we’ll look to record sessions for those who can’t make them but want to watch later.
Can I do a free trial, or a shorter membership?
We believe that great community takes time, and we want to build a safe, intimate and richly engaged culture between members. In order to do that, we believe that an upfront payment for the annual membership helps to create a stronger sense of commitment. If you feel that you are not getting value from the community within the first month, we are happy to refund your membership.

The Earlywork community has been such a great way to meet new people! Something i really like about Earlywork is how much you can learn from being part of the community since everyone’s always sharing what they create, what has caught their interest, and their experiences in their career. for anyone who’s in the early stages of their career or are still in uni, this is pretty important since you get to hear about different industries you may not hear about within a university environment where you’d probably be a bit more pigeonholed within the industries typically associated with your degree!
To me, the Earlywork community has signified a strong, close-knitted group of like-minded individuals with varying sets of interests and skills, who are sharing extremely relevant news, groups, job listings, and engaging in community conversations. It's allowed me to meet many new people who are interesting and have helped to support me in my journey.
